Pick a wallet
Ethereum · Base · Polygon
One wallet covers all three: MetaMask, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, or Phantom (now supports Ethereum networks too). Available as mobile apps and browser extensions.

Temple (browser extension) or Kukai (a web wallet where you can even sign in with a Google account).

Bitcoin (Ordinals)
Xverse or Leather. You'll need one for pieces like the Counterfeit Cards on Magic Eden.
Protect your recovery phrase. Write it down offline, never type it into a website, and never share it. Anyone who has it owns your wallet. For higher-value collecting, pair your wallet with a hardware device (Ledger or Trezor).

Add funds
Easiest: buy crypto directly inside your wallet with a card or Apple Pay (MetaMask, Rainbow, Coinbase Wallet, and Phantom all have built-in on-ramps).
Ethereum: buy ETH on an exchange (Coinbase, Kraken) and send it to your wallet address. Keep a little extra for gas. Mainnet fees are much lower than they used to be, but not zero.
Base: the cheapest way in. Withdraw ETH from Coinbase straight to the Base network; transactions cost pennies, so it's a great place to start collecting.
Polygon: buy POL (the token formerly called MATIC) and withdraw to the Polygon network.
Tezos: buy XTZ on an exchange and send it to your Tezos address. Fees are fractions of a cent.
Bitcoin: send BTC to your Ordinals wallet and keep a margin for network fees.
First time? Send a small test amount before moving anything larger, and double-check you've selected the right network when withdrawing from an exchange.

Open a collection from this site. Every card links to the official listing.
Click Connect Wallet (or just Buy for card checkout), and approve the connection in your wallet.
Confirm the purchase. The piece lands in your wallet and shows up in your marketplace profile.

Stay safe out there
Always enter collections through this site's links or your own bookmarks. Fake marketplace clones are the #1 scam.
Your seed phrase belongs only inside your wallet app. No marketplace, support agent, or "verification" page ever needs it.
Ignore unsolicited airdrops, DMs, and "you won a mint" links. Don't interact with random tokens that appear in your wallet.
Read what your wallet asks you to sign. If a simple purchase requests broad approvals, close it and start over from the official page.
Periodically clean up old token approvals with revoke.cash.
For a serious collection, use a hardware wallet as your vault and a separate "hot" wallet for day-to-day minting.

Troubleshooting
"Insufficient funds" means you need enough for the item plus gas. Top up a little extra.
"Wrong network" means your wallet is on a different chain. Switch to the one shown on the listing (Ethereum, Base, or Polygon); marketplaces usually offer a one-click switch.
Transaction stuck? On Ethereum you can "speed up" from your wallet's activity tab with a higher fee. On Base and Polygon this almost never happens.
Piece not showing? Give the marketplace a few minutes to index, then check your profile's "hidden" tab.
